In a large skillet over medium heat, cook 500g of sliced beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt to the beef, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, place 4 tortillas and sprinkle half of each tortilla with 100g of cheddar cheese.
Top the cheese with the cooked beef and a squeeze of lime juice, then fold the tortillas in half.
Cook the quesadillas for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serve hot with additional lime wedges on the side.
