Easy Filipino-style beef steak with soy sauce, onions, and citrus marinade.

In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, calamansi juice, and black pepper. Add the beef slices and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until translucent. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add the marinated beef slices, reserving the marinade. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
Pour the reserved marinade into the pan and let it simmer with the beef for 5 more minutes.
Add the cooked onions back into the pan, stir to combine, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve the beef steak hot with steamed rice.
