A delicious Thai noodle dish featuring stir-fried beef, wide rice noodles, and a balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors.

Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground or sliced beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the beef. Stir in 3 tablespoons of fish sauce, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Toss everything together to coat the noodles evenly.
Add 0.5 cup of chopped basil and stir-fry for another minute until the basil is wilted. Adjust seasoning with additional fish sauce or lime juice as needed.
Serve hot with extra lime wedges on the side.
