A delicious Italian-American sandwich featuring tender meatballs in a rich marinara sauce, topped with melted cheese and served in a toasted bun.

Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, 0.5 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 teaspoon salt until well combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8 minutes.
Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the meatballs back to the skillet and cook in the sauce for an additional 10 minutes.
While the meatballs cook, slice the buns in half and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes until golden.
To serve, place meatballs on the toasted buns, top with shredded cheese, and return to the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
