A moist and flavorful Irish soda bread infused with Guinness beer, perfect for a hearty and rustic loaf.

Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add the raisins to the dry ingredients and stir until they are evenly distributed.
In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk and Guinness beer.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture. Stir together until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 1 to 2 minutes, just enough to bring it together. Avoid over-kneading to keep the bread tender.
Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Using a sharp knife, score a deep 'X' in the top of the loaf. This helps the bread bake evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and a hollow sound is heard when tapped on the bottom.
Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
