Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit).
In a large bowl, mix together 0.5 cup of olive oil, the juice of 2 lemons, 0.25 cup of capers, 2 teaspoons of oregano, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
Add 4 chicken thighs (about 800 g) to the bowl and coat them well in the marinade. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
Transfer the marinated chicken to a baking dish, pour the remaining marinade over it, and arrange the chicken with skin side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Serve the chicken warm, drizzled with the pan juices.
