Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Shape the ground beef into 4 patties, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until seared and cooked to your preference.
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each burger patty and cover to melt.
While the burgers are cooking, cook the bacon in a separate skillet until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain.
In a large bowl, combine arugula, bell pepper, and cucumber for the salad. Drizzle with olive oil, add lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
To serve, place each cheeseburger on a plate, topped with 2 slices of bacon. Serve with a side of the prepared salad.
