Preheat the oven to 200.0 degrees Celsius (400.0 degrees Fahrenheit).
Wash and pierce the sweet potatoes with a fork, then place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 30.0 minutes or until tender.
While the sweet potatoes are baking, cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat with a little oil until fully cooked, about 10.0 minutes.
Shred the cooked chicken and mix it with BBQ sauce in the skillet. Cook for an additional 5.0 minutes until heated through.
