Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
In a small saucepan, heat the barbecue sauce over medium heat until warm. Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the saucepan and toss to coat them evenly in the sauce.
Serve the meatballs on plates with your choice of side dishes.
